Would waiting to get to the iPhone 5 be a good idea?

I have the Droid X and would like the iPhone 4, but with the new iPhone 5 presumably coming out in just a few months, would it make more sense to wait? Good things come to those who wait, but still, I'm not sure. Any help would be appreciated =)
