Can someone explain to me about an Edgar Allan Poe story?

In the 'The Masque of Red Death' how are the different room set up? Are they just a long hallway? are there doors between each room? is it wrapped around a courtyard? or is it labyrinth like? and yes this actually has much to do with the story
