Is a pj style b guitar as good for slap as a jazz b?

Hi, I own a fender jazz b, and was wondering how a pj b can hold up to slap? If it sounds as good or not, I play using both the bridge and neck pickup on slap, but a pj b would only have the bridge jazz pickup. Just wanted to know if anyone's had any experience.
