What is this movie?

Its one of those movies that keeps switching between flashbacks and real time. Its about a group of freinds (pretty sure one becomes a lawyer and another becomes a rabbi) who accidently kill some guy, i believe in the woods. I think they destroy his car in a quarry or something. Also i believe he doesnt die right away and they choose to ignore his pain rather than get help. anyway, they do this when they are teens and the movie is about how it all starts to come back to haunt them when they are 30ish. I know its vague but its all I have to go on.
