What is a fear of mascots and how do i overcome it?

I'm afraid of mascots, when I was 10, I visited a ballpark to watch a friend play in the little leagues, then the school mascot showed up, the mascot began shaking hands with everyone, so I began avoiding the mascot and eventually had to get out of the stadium, then when I was 12, my family and I ate at some chicken restaurant, the chicken mascot showed up, and like before, I was avoiding the mascot, and eventually cried when the mascot came over to our table, and when I was 8, my family attended a relative's birthday party at McDonald's, and when the Ronald McDonald mascot showed up, I was practically avoiding the clown, and I eventually had to get out of the room, and when was 22, I attended my friend's son's birthday party, and the clown they hired showed up, and like before, I was avoiding the clown and had to get out of the room.
