What is the benefits of filling chapter 7 bankruptcy?

there is a medical LLC that is filling chapter 7 can you tell me the benefits of this move. and are ther any real negative implications afterwards? to me it seems like people/companies can file for chapter 7 and than start a new business doing the same old thing and not get into any real trouble. is this true?
