How much do you value being around "like minded" , similar or greater level of intellect to yourself?

I have no problem being round people who are less intelligent than me. Just because they're less intelligent doesn't mean that they are any less awesome friends. Being around people who are cleverer than me means that I can learn stuff from them. And being round people who are'nt as clever as me means that I can help them out
