Can you get a slipped vertebra from work? I went for a MRI 21 months after the injury.?
Findings:There is generralised disc desiccation demonstration of the lower thoracic and lumbar discs, particularly of the T12/L1 disc and the L4/5 disc with posterocentral disc bulge seen at L5/S1 level. There is a disc bulge demonstrated at the T11/12 level aing the thecal sac and the lower spinal cord anteriorly with no sigificant disc bulge, lateral recess or foraminal stenosis.There is no suggestion of a pars abnormality. No gross marrow signal abnormality. At the l3/4 level, no significant disc bulge, lateral recess or foraminal stenosis. At the L4/5 level, no significant disc bulge, lateral recess or foraminal stenosis. Mmild facet joint hyertrophy only seen. At the L5/S1 level, there is abroad-based porterocentral disc bulge with bilateral paraforaminal components. This results in severe bilaterally at the level of the foramen with no significant displacement. There is no evidence of a impingement of the S1 nerve roots within the centtral c.
